rerun multiple (100s) workflows

I found this question/answer  which is super helpful for re running individual work flows that have business process variables and so need to run with that data.

question is... is there a way to trigger a whole group probably a few hundred workflows?

Do you have a list of the instance and submission IDs you want to run with? Or were these submissions saved in the repository with that data in metadata fields?

You can have a workflow that iterates over that list and starts the workflow you want by passing those 2 parameters in.
