LF 11 Desktop Client- WebDav Option enabled

Hello,

We recently brought a new customer into Laserfiche.

They are a fresh install of Version 11.

Customer reached out with a WebDav error when trying to open an electronic document from within the LF Desktop Client.

They do not have WebDav setup in their environment.

When we looked at the Tools->Options->View->Open With, we saw that the WebDav options were accessible and checked for both Electronic and PDF.

Once we unchecked those the issue was resolved, but that leads to the following:

1. Why would these options be available if they do not have WebDav enabled in their Environment

2. It appears that all LF 11 Desktop Client installs that were done, have the same option set

Appreciate any feedback or any root cause troubleshooting steps anyone might have.

Did you or somebody else deploy user attributes for the Everyone group? That may do it if it was accidentally turned on before copying the attributes.

Hello Miruna,

No this was a brand new install so there were no environmental variables turned on

I also confirmed the installs were done manually on each workstation not pushed out by automated installers such as MS SCCM.

Any ideas?
