Brief casing documents between different LF server versions

Hi All,

A customer has raised an interesting point and I'm not 100% sure of the answer.

Laserfiche is usually always forwards compatible, so you can export a V8 briefcase and import it into a V11 system (as an example). The other way around I'm not entirely sure if this is supported.

Please can someone confirm is exporting a briefcase from a V11 system to a 10.2 system is supported?

Chris,

I have brought over briefcases from a Laserfiche 11 environment to a Laserfiche 10.4.2 environment multiple times.

I wouldn't expect 10.2 to be an issue as the briefcase just contains images and metadata, which would not have much variance between versions.

Thanks for the update Frank. Yeah I don't really see it being an issue, as a briefcase isn't feature specific.

I just need confirmation from Laserfiche that it's supported.
