Laserfiche Email Archive

I've been working with our O365 admin trying to get Email Archive connected to a shared mailbox.  The connection test keeps failing and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it.

We literally walked through the setup together and met all the needed specifications for using OAuth 2.0.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Cassey,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Email Archive setup. As a first step, could you run the following command in PowerShell from the same server Email Archive is on and verify that the "TcpTestSucceeded" value returns "True"?

Test-NetConnection 'outlook.office365.com' -Port 993

If it doesn't, you might have a firewall or proxy blocking outbound access on the IMAP port (993).

If it does, can you look at the Email Archive event logs for any error messages? There are two logs to check under \Applications and Services Logs\Laserfiche\Email Archive\Service. If you see any error messages there, could you post the full error message(s) for any connection errors? Those should contain more detail on the specifics of what part of the connections are failing.
