Depending on your volume rollover configuration, you can see how often a new physical volume is getting created compared to what the max size before rollover is. So for example, by default, physical volumes roll over when they reach around 20 GB in size. So if you look at your volume folders and their creation dates, you can get a rough idea of how often you're hitting that 20 GB limit.

There may be a better way, but this seems to be accurate enough for us to get an idea of how much storage space to add when that time comes, and how long we can expect it to last before we need more added.
