Import Agent - E_FAIL WINCODEC_ERR_GENERIC_REPORT

One of my users is having issues running their Import Agent profile. The error message is attached.

 

The weird thing is it works most of the time, but when it doesn't, it's always this error for each respective file that isn't uploaded. Restarting the Import Agent service,  rebooting the server, and disabling OCR on the profile doesn't change any behavior.

 

Any guidance is appreciated.

Hi Jesse,

 

Does the issue occur in specific pdf file or all pdf files? If specific pdf file, please open a support case and provide the profile, pdf file, event log, and the screenshots of the 3 tabs(General, File Type, Advanced) in options dialog: Open Import Agent Configuration Utility->Profile->Options:

This happens to random PDF files, small or large, it doesn't matter. Other profiles and testing seems to be working fine. They are running the newest version of Import Agent as I thought it was going to be improved after updating.
