Decryption not working

Dears,

We had a volumes that were encrypted and we decided to decrypt them because of the problem of users not accessing their document whenever the server restarted. On decrypting, we find the menu under All Tasks, on some of the volumes still show Decrypt even though we have decryptrd the volumes. What may cause this?

Hi Mark,

Does the volume encryption status stay the same if you hit "F5" to refresh? What if you close and reopen the Laserfiche Administration Console? Sometimes when I've updated a volume property like Path on multiple volumes the UI doesn't automatically update even though the change has taken effect.

Hi Samuel,

I have tried everything. Log out - log in, restart the Laserfiche Admin Console, restarted the Services, but stays the same.

Hi Samule,

I checked the log and was it shows like there are some documents that are not decrypting That is why the volume is not decrypting. The following errors were shown in the event log

A volume conversion operation completed with errors. Repository="xxxxxxxxxxx"; Volume ID=3; Operations=decompress;decrypt; Error count=2.

and

An error occurred while converting a volume file. Repository="xxxxxxxxxxxxx"; Volume ID=3; Entry ID=54209; Page=1; Store ID=0x64AA; Error=Unknown HResult Error code: 0xc0042466; File name="S:\Repositories\xxxxxxxxx\DEFAULT\DEFAULT000001\00\00\64\000064AA.TXT"
