Adding columns or changing column names of simple tables not working - Can never use the same name again

asked on November 9, 2021

Anyone else having trouble adding a column or changing column names of a simple table. The new columns do not show up when building a query. I even tried deleting my table, and re-creating from scratch. If I open the table, I see my new columns, but the rules do not show them, they always show the original column config.

The only thing to do is create a new table with a different name then I have ever used before.

1. Re-verify your data source connection, which will refresh the schema info cache in the back-end.

2. Clear browser cache and refresh the page, you should be able to see the new columns.

I do not see a test hyperlink. It looks like your using Postgre and I am using Simple Tables.

Chad, there's a bug in how we use lookup tables in data queries so there is no way to refresh the configuration from the UI. You have to clear the browser cache like Kern indicated in Step 2.

Ok, using a different name for the table was my solution.
