I'm at an event this weekend and find that every form in our Laserfiche cloud does not work, throwing the error "Work Schedule is not configured, configure Work Schedule in Process Properties". I went in and created a work schedule that includes all 7 days from 6 am to 9 pm and applied it to the form I desperately need. . .and the form won't work. I can enter it and click submit, but the form never shows up in the repository. Even in the monitoring section, it doesn't show that the form was ever submitted, even thought I get the successful submission message. The funny thing is, this is a pure submission, no timer events, nothing at all in the process related to any timing. I checked some of our other forms and if you publish any of them, I get the same error on all. Is this a bug. . .cuz that's a very major bug, or is there some new global setting? I'm confused and this is for a major customer event.
Question
Question
Work Schedules stopping all forms?
Answer
Hi Bryan,
The issue regarding new Forms submissions not getting processed (i.e. not showing up on the "Monitor" page post submission) is noted as an incident. Please follow https://status.laserfiche.com/incidents/1qr3sj3g4wqd for the latest updates.
Thanks, Alex. appreciate the quick response.
Is this still an issue? I have a customer getting this message when they verify a Forms Process. What can be done to resolve this?
It seems that their backend bug fix worked for us and for our customers. Some people had to restart some processes, but then they worked. Not sure if it has come back up, but our stuff seems to be working.
I located in the gear on a forms process the ability to create a forms schedule. Once I did that it corrected the process and I was able to save. This is new. So I am sure no one knew it needed to be created with each existing and new process.
The requirement of having a work schedule configured is unrelated to the issue where forms submissions were not appearing to be processed.
Work Schedules is a feature that's meant to replace the current timezone implementation in Process Automation. This was rolled out with the recent 2021.4 release, but we fell short on using our in-app tools to properly highlight this feature and how it needs to be set.
We are working with our education team on making sure we effectively cover things like this within the product to clear up potential confusion.
