Forms Configuration: Friendly Name->Sender's Email Account

Hello,

We have a customer who is trying to follow the instructions for setting a "Friendly Name" for the senders email account in the Forms Configuration->Email Settings section, but when they try this, the get Invalid Email.

I tried using this format and get the same error:

Does something need to be set from the Exchange/Outlook side for the email to be used in this format?

I don't believe you can "friendly name" in forms even though it says in the users guide. The included answers link may help you.

The uses guide was wrong, this feature was requested before but we never added support to it, we will update the documentation.

It does appear that Forms is using a friendly name, when using the From field in the email task configuration. But it seems to be their username, not their display name. Is there any options in forms to configure what shows as the friendly name?

From my test, email service task doesn't support friendly name as well. It uses the email address of the user.

I saw your previous note about this feature being requested back in  2021, can you tell me if it's now supported?
