Question

Pricing for Items

asked on September 17, 2021

Hello,

I am making a form. The premise is that when a coworker selects "Disk" I would like the value of $40 to automatically appear in the cost column.  If my coworker selects "Ripper" I would like the value of $55 to automatically appear in cost.

How do I do this?

Thanks!
Rick

Rick,

The easiest way to do this is with an External SQL Database Table (Giving Processes in Laserfiche Forms Access to an External Database)

Your Database Table would look something like this:

Then use Lookup Rules on your form to populate the cost field (Creating Lookup Rules to Populate Fields with Database Entries (laserfiche.com))

Good Luck - this is one of Laserfiche's strengths IMHO
