Feature Request: Forms Modern designer image preview option on uploaded files

I've noticed that in the new Modern forms designer there is no option for an image preview for an uploaded file. This feature is very important to us, as we have an Expense Report form that is used to upload receipts; the image preview, when part of a Collection in the form, is able to show the entire receipt in a readable format so the approver doesn't have to download the attachments one at a time for review. Please add this feature as soon as possible. Thank you.

There's a page they put up listing a feature comparison between the classic and modern designers. Image previews are not yet listed as "coming soon" so it's hard to say when they may be available.

It looks like for now they are prioritizing table/collection lookups, url parameters, submission recovery, and custom JavaScript.

This feature request (301741) is on our radar and will be prioritized following JavaScript support in the layout designer.

Just chiming in with an additional +1

This missing feature is prohibiting adoption of LF11 modern forms for quite a few paper based processes where the preview was an essential component of the approval process. Please prioritise where possible, thank you!

Hi everyone, just bumping this critical LF11 adoption feature for 2022.

This functionality was critical for many paper-based workflows (credit applications, loans approval etc) and if the solution is designing processes with hybrid form sets (mixing modern designer forms with legacy designer) it will hold customers back from quite a few quick win modernisation projects.

Is it possible to get comment on when we can expect this feature to be modernised/updated for on premise implementations?

Image previews for file upload fields on the new layout designer will be available very soon! The feature is in the final testing stages and is planned for release in PA with 2022.2 and on premise Forms 11 Update 2.
