Having trouble finding documentation on Forms Suspension Notification feature found in the configurator

asked on August 30, 2021

There is a feature in the Forms Config called Email Templates, Suspension Notification. However there is no description of what it does or how it works. If I click on help and search for Suspension Notification it just takes me to the below link which states you can customize default email messages sent by the Forms server. Sent to who, when, how?

Hi Chad,

The Suspension Notification template will be by default used in process suspension notification, which can be found in Process Options -> Process Notification -> 'Send email notification when this process suspends'.

You can customize the email recipient and email content from there.

Thank you, we were trying to find a way for an administrator of the system to see if there are any system suspensions at a high level. We recommend checking for suspensions on a regular basis, but since they might only happen once in a great while it would be useful just to receive an email that there are suspensions waiting for attention.

We are still on 10.2, so I don't think your option existed. We did something like this:

email notification for suspended states. - Laserfiche Answers

For what it's worth, it works great.

Ok, I commented on this. I am trying to find where the admin can receive a notification of a suspended process in general, without using a custom query of the database.
