Import Profile Tokens not working

I am trying to setup import profiles but I can't get the tokens to populate.

I am using the General template and want the document name to be the Author field.  If I use the token %(Date) it correctly names the document with the current date but I can't get it to pickup the Author's name.  I am using the Windows client version 10.4 below are the screen shots of how I set this up and the results.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks.

Import profiles don't support extracting tokens from field values. Custom field values like %(Author) come from the incoming filename. See the documentation here. This sounds like a job for Workflow, which could monitor for documents with %(Author) in the name and immediately rename them with the value extracted from the document's field values.
