WebLink 10 - Character limit on the Welcome Page 'Text' field?

One of our customers is using WebLink 10.2.0, and they are trying to enter some text into the 'Text' field on the Welcome Page. It seems to be cutting them off at 400 characters.

Is there a 400 character limit on this field? I'm doubtful, because this is only happening on one of their two WebLink instances. On one of their sites they have almost 1000 characters in the 'Text' field, but in the other site, it won't let us type more than 400.

Has anybody seen this, or does anybody have any idea why it's giving us this limitation on one of their sites?

Hi Mike,
Yes weblink does have a 400 character limit in version 10. Upon further review this will likely be bumped up in future versions of weblink.
If they need a workaround now they can manually edit the xml file on their weblink server where the text gets stored. For example INSTALL_PATH\Laserfiche\WebLink\Config\WLConfig.xml. The node they would want to edit would be named CustomWelcomeText
