Is there a report or some way to find the total number of records in my repository? I'd rather not have to go through each folder and count the records manually. Thank you in advance.

Hi Michelle,
Thanks for reaching out on Answers. You certainly don't need to count anything manually. Here is the easiest way to view what I believe you're looking for:
- Open the Laserfiche web client, select the repository root folder, and go to the Details tab
- Scroll down and click "Show advanced"
- Scroll down to "File Stats" and click "View"
- Wait for the Statistic report to generate
Below are images showing the steps:
You can accomplish the same thing in the desktop Laserfiche Client by right-clicking the repository root folder and selecting "Properties".
Hopefully that's what you're looking for. If it's not, please clarify the request.

Hi Sam
Thanks. It appears this may no longer be a feature available in Web Client 11.
Can you confirm?
Regards
The File Stats option does seem to be gone from Web Client 11 (specific version I spot checked was 11.0.2109.7, a 2021 build). I will inquire.
This is a known bug. ID# 491768 - "Details pane is not showing all 'Advanced' options (missing Rights, File Stats and EXIF Data)".
Thanks Sam!
Hi Sam, this still seems to be the case. Is there any way of knowing when this is going to be fixed? Or another way to see this information?
The issue is fixed in Laserfiche Web Client 11 Update 9 (11.0.2409.35) and above, including Laserfiche 12.
Hi Sam,
Any thoughts why I am not seeing File Stats here then?
Hi Cole, the File Stats option is not available in Laserfiche Cloud. The data has to be calculated in real time, and it's an extremely (computationally) expensive SQL query - enough so that it can cause performance issues for other users of the same backend database instance.
