Laserfiche has encountered a problem LLF2106

Hi 

please assist us, for the last week we have been struggling with Laserfiche in our organization, we initially started using Laserfiche on IOS which worked reasonably well for a time. Due to the space issues on IOS we decided to switch to Android which gave us the option of using an SD card for additional storage of photos.

During the last week or so we get the error  LLF2106 "Laserfiche has encountered a problem" this normally happens as soon as we click the button at the bottom of our form to submit. On Android sometimes we can complete the workflow successfully but most of the time we get the error, so at the moment Laserfiche is virtually unusable.

We did some testing yesterday on an iPhone and we did get the same error as above but not as frequently as with an Android device.

The Android devices are enrolled into Microsoft Intune and we have enabled Kiosk mode with a dedicated home screen, we have granted the Laserfiche app full permissions to the device via Intune.

Laserfiche Repository Access: 10.3.0.242

Hi Delon,

Thank you for providing the specific version information for everything - that's always very helpful. The Laserfiche Mobile Server version you're using is about four years old at this point, while you're on the latest (or nearly latest) version of the App. As the App and Mobile Server versions get further apart, the chance for issues generally increases. While we do test the App with older versions of Mobile Server, most testing efforts go towards more recent Mobile Server versions.

I would strongly recommend upgrading your Laserfiche Server and Mobile Server to the latest versions in either 10.4.3 or 11.0 and seeing if that resolves the issue. Upgrading Laserfiche Server and Mobile Server should not require upgrading other Laserfiche software components, though I would strongly encourage you to upgrade those as well. We've made many functionality, performance, and security enhancements, as well as numerous bug fixes since Laserfiche 10.3 that you can benefit from.

If it doesn't, please work with your Solution Provider to open a support case. Should a hotfix for Mobile Server be necessary, it is much easier for us to update the latest versions than older ones like 10.3.
