Email Multi-factor Authentication in Workflow

In the Workflow Configuration Manager Email Servers, can a mailbox that uses multi-factor authentication be configured?  If so, would the mailbox be required to authenticate using the multi-factor authentication process periodically?

Hi Barry, it cannot.

Workflow only needs an email address it's authorized to send as and an SMTP endpoint. This email address does not need a mailbox.
