Software to autosave bankstatements into Network folder for Laserfiche Import Agent to monitor and import

asked on July 21, 2021 Show version history

Is anyone familiar or using a software that can autologin to financial accounts and save PDF statements to a network drive?

We have a client looking for such a software so that Laserfiche import agent can auto import the statements into Laserfiche.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Could the connector help here? Rather than using Import agent it can sit on top of the banking application/website, then when required import the screenshot/pdf into Laserfiche.

Unfortunately connector will not work in this use case because that requires the client manually logging into the bank institution website and then using the connector button.

This is for a wealth management client that handles thousands of accounts.   They are currently looking at a software that has a portal/dashboard that you can provide your account information/credentials and it will autologin and save your bank statements onto a network drive.

The idea then is to then use import agent to auto import these bank statements into Laserfiche.

I guess the software they are looking at is LIST FILE, so wondering if anyone has experience with that and Laserfiche or another similar program/solution/application that they use.

Sounds like they need something like Plaid to serve as the account connector. I wouldn't be surprised if whatever they're looking at uses Plaid under the hood.

This goes without saying, but if you go this route, be extra careful about your Import Agent rules to make sure the right bank statements get associated with the right accounts. Use Workflow to triple check and validate any ways you can.
