I was wondering if anyone could help.
A customers of ours has been suffering from the bug that causes their documents to be mirrored / inverted when the PDF is brought into Laserfiche. (bug# 227407)
I understand a fix for new documents being brought in is in place and we are in the midst of installing this; My question is has anyone came up with a solution or a business process to try fix the documents that are now in the repository and inverted / mirrored already,.
These documents only live in Laserfiche now and we have maybe a couple hundred to try "unmirror" so they cannot be brought in again.
The customer has a slow solution to try fix this themselves but obviously we want to give them a better solution to try sort these documents
The workaround is as below:
- Open document and view on screen.
- Re-Size so that one full page is visible.
- Screen shot with Alt Button and Print Screen together.
- Launch “MSPaint” program.
- Cntrl-V to paste in screen shot image.
- Select “Rotate” from banner on top right and then – flip Horizontal
- Select “Rotate” from banner on top right and then – flip 180 degrees.
If anyone has came up with a smoother solution I'd like to try get this in place.
