Question

Question

Workflow: The user account name or password is incorrect. [9010].

asked on July 1, 2021

Hi Everyone,

One of our client encounters a problem with their old running instance's workflow process.

Before the problem occurred, the published BPA runs smoothly. When they change the password of the connecting profiles, the problem occurred. Now they create a new connection profile with the same username, but new password, This profile has a full access to the repository. But the problem still persists in the old running instances. It's looks like the new profile did  not synchronize to the  old running instances, I mean the registered connection profile of old running instances did  not update.

How to solve this issue?

Hoping you can help me.

Cheers!

That is correct, running activities can't update their connection profile even if you choose to update running instances when you publish a new version of a workflows. Use connection redirects to address the password change.

Hi Miruna,

Sorry for late update for this issue.

After I do the connection redirects, we continue a running process but it terminates and give this error.

Then, we open a folder from the terminated process and the issue still persists.

It seems that connection redirects did not work.

How to solve this issue?

Hoping you can help me.

Cheers

Please open a case with Tech Support and attach the contents of the Logs subfolder from Workflow's installation directory.
