Hello,
There is a way to monitor the workflows in execution when they exceed a certain execution time that allows them to be automatically canceled due to excess time in the execution.

Not quite, but you can achieve that behavior. You can add a deadline activity to your workflow where the current activity happens in the main branch and you terminate the workflow once the timer in the deadline branch expires.

I am going to carry out the test, but the query I made corresponds to the fact that: randomly and not frequently one or two workflows are left on hold, it is not a specific flow.

I would suggest opening a support case so we can investigate the cause of the issue for those situations.
