Hello,
We have a customer with a form that saves both an image of the form and an attachment to a location in their repository. We're using a last name and a first name captured on the form to create the folder path in which to save these files. However, if this folder path already exists, Laserfiche creates an identical folder with "(2)" after it. For example, if we already have a \John Doe\ folder, we end up with a \John Doe (2)\ folder when this form gets submitted.
Is there a way around this? It feels like I would have run into this issue before prior to this if this was intended behavior, but maybe not. I haven't tried using Workflow instead to route these documents - maybe that would work better?

This is not intended behavior, if the folder path exists, it should save into that existing folder. Does the repository connection user have access to save into the existing folder?
We will be able to investigate and troubleshoot the issue more quickly if you open a support case.
