Laserfiche Login while Scanning

Hello,

Multiple times a day, while a user is scanning documents from a desktop scanner, they are prompted to enter their credentials (screenshot attached).  This just started last week for this user, no other users are reporting similar issues.

When the user clicks OK, the document is not saved into the repository.  The user then rescans the document and is not prompted for credentials and the documents saves to the repository.

I ran a repair on the Laserfiche client (10.2), but still no luck.

Any suggestions on how to correct this behavior is appreciated.

Hi Lowell,

That sounds frustrating for the user. If it started suddenly without changing Laserfiche, only for one user, and persists through a repair, it's unlikely to strictly be a Laserfiche software issue, but might be a negative interaction with some abnormality in that user's environment. 

Something I would try (if possible) is having that user log into a different workstation with the same version of Laserfiche Scanning and see if the same issue comes up. That might give a hint as to whether something is going on with their AD account. If it works for them without issue on the other machine, something is likely up with their own workstation.

If you're not able to sort out what's going on after running some tests like the above, I recommend working with your Solution Provider to open a support case.

Thanks Samuel for the information - I will have the user try scanning on a similarly configured machine
