Question

Importing PDFs into Quickfields

asked on June 8, 2021 Show version history

I'm working on this project that imports a Purchase Order with fields that was created in Acrobat. I brought it into Quickfields as a Sample.

Then I set it as my Master PDF and added the fields.

then in the Classification under Purchase Order I attached the Retrieve Content fields.

First Page Identification

I'm stuck here. I don't know how to import the data from my PDF to QF.

Retrieve PDF Form Content should give you tokens for the PDF fields that you can use to populate fields. Zone OCR won't be required.

Ok, so  I remove OmniPage Zone OCR 2. But I left OmniPage Zone OCR in the "First Page Identification so QF can use the text to do the page break. Now, I know that under "Retrieve PDF From Content" retrieves and stores the values for those individual fields. But where are the fields and how can I retrieve the value from those fields? Cuz the way it stands now I'm somehow loosing the data that got retrieved in the first place. Shouldn't the value (Data) be in those fields  so I can send it to the repository?
