Workflow - Add Textbox activity html code render problem in document

asked on May 11, 2021

Hello,

I am creating dynamic PDF using workflow designer. Problem is everything working fine but since few days all of suddenly there is some problem.

Within that workflow we have placed "Add textbox" , along with some HTML code.

In LF client, when I see generated document PDF  , I found that HTML code does not render and its shows in generated document. ( see image )

When I download document in my local machine from LF repository and opened with adobe reader , its shows nicely but within LF client its shows me HTML code.

My second problem is , when I opened that document in adobe reader ,  I want to restrict use to delete add textbox from generated PDF. Right now all user can delete the textbox from downloaded PDF file.

Thanks,
Pratik Barot

You can see simple workflow with screnshot with only 2 activites. One for document path where we need to apply textbox and other is add textbox toolbox with html.

As per other image , you see that in LF client is shows the HTML text in document. LF client did not render that html code.

Also when i save this document on my local machine and open that file in adobe reader , i am able to delete that textbox so how we will make that textbox readonly while we save this document on local machine.

Thanks,
Pratik

Textbox annotations are just plain text, they don't render HTML.

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. From your screenshots, it looks like you're creating new documents? A PDF form or a Word document might work.
