Workflow caught at a wait condition Cannot Complete or Terminate

Hello,

I have been testing a new workflow, and in the process deleted test docs and folders, while a workflow was in a "wait" condition (I know - right?)

Now, I have this workflow instance that is "waiting", but I cannot end it.

I have read a few posts from 2018 and it seems this is something that will never go away because I altered the workflow etc while this instance was waiting.

Any help would be great.  I have tried override all wait conditions and terminating or completing to no avail.

Will this "waiting" instance impact anything?   I feel like the only way I can resolve this is to time travel back to the version of everything that was in place at the time the wait condition started (kidding but not really).

Just deleting documents would terminate any instances that are waiting on them. Workflow checks for that when it receives the notification for the deletion.

This looks like something entirely different because the error is about a missing Windows component. I would recommend opening a support case so we can take a closer look.
