No, the existence of a shortcut is not one of the available columns or visible on the details pane.
I'm curious - how would that information be useful?
Hi Brian - thanks for your reply and the information. The way our repository folder structure is set up - we have several record types that require a shortcut into a certain template. As records are imported into the repository a manual shortcut is created. Part of my daily QC is to check for shortcuts and I am having to go into the template folder that can contain 1000's of folders where the shortcuts live. As I QC the original record it would be great if there was a an easier way to see if a shortcut has been created. instead of multiple step process. Any ideas or feedback is appreciated. Thank you
My first thought is that this probably shouldn't be a manual process. You could use Workflow to create the shortcut when the record comes in.
As for QC, it wouldn't be hard to write a short program to check for this using either the SDK or a SQL query.
Yes, a shortcut automation workflow is in the works.
As for Qc - you lost me at SDK... lol! I am not familiar with the technical functions, but I appreciate the input.
I was hoping there would be something showing in the details pane similar to the links or in the column picker like the desktop version showing document relationships.
Thank you Brian - appreciate your feedback
