In LaserFiche is it supported to add a Windows "managed service account" as a Windows Account user for a repository?

No, they are not supported for repository users. However, you can use AD gMSAs as Laserfiche Windows Services and IIS App Pool identities, which are used for the applications' connections to SQL Server.
