We switched over to a new server for Laserfiche and also upgraded to LF 11 on the server side. Since that time, I have experienced very long wait times to open Excel and Word files (to the point that the program shows as Not Responding). They do eventually open, but of course this is wasting valuable time. If I uninstall the LF Office Plug-In, they open just fine. I upgraded my desktop client to version 11 as well to see if this would resolve the issue, but it did not. We have checked for entries in the registry that might have been pointing to the old server address but have found none. This does not happen in the Web Client, only in the desktop version. We are at a loss as to how to proceed at this point.

I would suggest working with your SP to open a support case. Since it's a hang in an application, the next troubleshooting step would probably be to capture a process dump while it is hung. Support can help with that, and then we'll need to analyze the result.
