Question

Change decimal symbol in numeric fields

asked on April 19, 2021 Show version history

Hi,

Do we want to change the decimal symbols in the numeric fields of Forms?
Example:

Default: 10,000.00
We want to change to: 10.000,00

Does anyone know how to do it? We have already verified the regional configuration of both windows server and workstation.

Thanks

Hi,

https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1012785/laserfiche-localization-release-information

Forms support localization when user uses browser with different locale settings. So if client browser is using Portuguese (Brazil) for example, number field will automatically formatted like 10.000,00.

If you want to customize number formatting for specific locale, you can configure in C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche Forms\Forms\Settings\numberFormat.json, and then restart FormsAppPool from IIS and Laserfiche Forms Routing Service to make it effective.
