Is there a way to have the Laserfiche Microsoft Offfice Pluging installed without disabling autosave?

What version are you using? The bugs around Autosave have been fixed a while back: https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1013996/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-10-3-1-update-2

We are on version 10.4.2. How do I update just the Office integration?

If you are on 10.4.2, then installing the 10.4.2 desktop client would upgrade the Office integration. If you are using the web client, then the users would be prompted to upgrade when they use the Office plug-in from the web client.

You can double-check the version from the Laserfiche tab in Word and clicking Help\About.

What exactly are you seeing that makes you think you have issues with autosave?
