Question

DocuSign Connect - Not licensed for DocuSign integration. (9179)

asked on April 14, 2021

Hi,

We are using DocuSign to sign our documents, currently we have a workflow polling every few mins, but we are looking at using DocuSign Connect instead which comes with the installation files of RIO.

I have followed these steps in this link DocuSign Connect Settings (laserfiche.com)

It seems like it is working since I can see the information in the event viewer, but I am getting the following error. Import Failed. Failed Envelope Information: Sender Name: Gert Bester. Recipient UserNames: Gert Bester. Document List: DocuSign Test.docx. Not licensed for DocuSign integration. (9179)

Just want to check if this is a Laserfiche or DocuSign error.

Kind Regards,

Gert

DocuSign is an add-on for Rio. I'm not seeing it on your list of purchased products. Your solution provider should be able to help you with acquiring it.

Is a DocuSign add-on license required for using the 'web import services' aspect of the DocuSign integration (auto importing completed e-sig. docs)?

In other words, is the added license and associated fee required in the following scenario.

  • Customer has no desire to 'fully integrate' (does not want to initiate signatures from Laserfiche side).
  • Customer would only like to have finalized DocuSign documents flow into their repository as a final step in the completed flow.

Thank you for any clarity that you can provide!

The licensed DocuSign integration consists of both pieces of functionality; using only one or the other part of it still requires the license.
