How strat workflow only after the scan ?

Hi,

In my repository I have an electronic document created without content, it contains only metadata, after a user must add the content with the scan, at this moment I should running my workflow, I use the management rules with the rule:

event type: Entry changed

the problem with this event, my workflow is started every time the document is modified except i want run it only when user scan a document inside the initial entry

You can use an "entry changes" condition and specify that your workflow should only start when pages are added.

Would it be possible to use the workflow as a business process and train the user to run the business process after they've added the content? Otherwise, yes your workflow is going to be launched a lot, and you'd have to put in an additional field to track that it already ran and exit out.
