How to auto name in the form

Hello, is there a way when a person have to fill out multiple name for Example a person type in there Name and go the the next form to fill there name out again in the Name of Applicant is there a way to autofill the name in the forms and no I not talking about within laserfiche forms using the datebase??

You could use a formula. Go into the Name of Applicant field advanced settings and use a calculation

=Name

When the user fills out the name field, it will update the Name of Applicant field as well.

If you have a multi-form process and are trying to grab the name from the first form you can use the variable token for "Name" and set it as the default value for "Name of Applicant". Otherwise if you are trying to grab the name from the same form then you can use the calculation Jared provided.
