I have a customer that is experiencing a significant slow down in searches when a particular field is included.  Here's the situation:

Search by Template: Statements (template has 5 fields)

Searching for an account number that has 12 total statements to return.

If values are placed in the "Orig Date" and/or "AcctNo" fields (date and text fields, respectively), the results come back in 2-5 seconds.

If a value is entered in the "Statements - Doc Type" field (List field), the results take several minutes to come back, or the search times out. 

This behavior exhibits in both Windows Client and Web Client.

I have searched for information on this issue, but haven't found anything quite like it.  Any ideas?
