How to grant PublicPortalUser account rights to the repository

asked on March 25, 2021 Show version history

On a new cloud installation we get this message

The PublicPortalUser account, which determines what entries anonymous users can view, has not been granted any rights to the repository.

The folder rights have been configured, the configuration page looks good. What rights is this message refering to?

Go to the Account section of the cloud and open the PublicPortalUser, expand the repository section at the bottom and make sure they are allowed access.  It is off by default, but once it's on you can then configure like normal in repository admin and with security access rights.

Oh that was it, it was collapsed which hid the field showing the account was disabled for access so I didn't see it even though I checked every tab. Now I am in, thanks!

On the main user page, does it have rights to log in to the repository?
