Maybe I am not understanding exactly how wild cards work but LF was unable to find a document that OCR'd a number 0 as a letter O. 

Example:  Searching for *20D0442* the results came back with a missing a file that was stored with the text (20DO442).

It was my understanding that adding wildcard asterisk before and after the word will bring up any documents with partial matches and in this case it missed that document.
