A SQL error has occurred. (A SQL error has occurred.) (LMO28)

Hi,

 

I am getting "A SQL error has occurred. (A SQL error has occurred.) (LMO28)"

when I try to create a licensing site for LFDS. my SQL and LFDS are on different servers, I have enabled mixed mode connection and the server is enabled for remote connections.

Hi Chase,

Thank you, I managed to get it working. the issue was that SQL 2019 by default doesn’t have the ‘Named Pipes’ protocol enabled. So those were enabled and TCP 1433 needed to be open as well.

Hi Reneilwe,

Are there any events logged in the Event Viewer for Directory Server? There should be more info there on what is going wrong.
