Services not starting, no logs???

After a windows update (of any type, like security patches or sql CU update) laserfiche will not start any services.

The service will hang in 'starting' status and no process will launch. No log files will be created, or log entries in the system logs.

Can anyone help me?

Rio 1.4 on Server 2012 R2 with SQL 2008 R2 SP3.

Check the LFS log under Applications and Service Logs:
