Import multiple separate documents that all have the same metadata

Is it possible to import multiple separate documents and assign the same metadata to each document without having to type/enter the metadata over and over again for each document?

If you're manually importing the files at the same time using the client, then there is an option you can check that will apply the settings you choose to every document in the batch.
