Forms Cloud On Event Completion - Links that do not show the entire URL, but instead language

I am trying to create links on the Event Completion Page using the Hyperlink option. However there is a strange bug that is hampering me 90% of the time.

The first thing that caused an issue was that the HTML for copied links was converting to unusable HTML that looks like this

<a title="https://portal.laserfiche.com/xxxxx/forms/hro4
CTRL +Click to follow link">Direct Deposit Form</a>

This does not work, a title is not enough to visit a page.

So as I am trying to fix them, I highlight the link text and then click on the create hyperlink button and enter a URL, then click Add.

However it then adds a hyperlink at the top with the full address displayed 90% of the time only working properly 10% of the time. I want the hyperlink text to be Direct Deposit Form and the hyperlink to be the URL.

I guess I will find an alternative HTML editor, the built in editor does not have any color coding, line spacing, or line returns so it is headache to read when fixing 30-40 onboarding forms.

The HTML editor used in Cloud Forms and on premise Forms are the same, it does have the issue you mentioned,  we may replace it with a better rich text editor in the future.

I have not had the problem with the on-prem where when copying links they are unusable because they only have a title.

Another real tough part of working with the forms editor is that your cursor constantly moves around while you are typing HTML code.
