Weblink9-A Lost Connection Condition has been detected

Hello,

We have a customer that reported to us, randomly users, using Chrome will get the below error message:

In their Troubleshooting they believe the issue is related to Chrome no longer supporting NPAPI (technology required for Java applets).

They found the below article that talks about installing the IE Tab Extension in Chrome:

After they added the IE Tab Extension in Chrome they were no longer getting the error message above.

I have tested using their WL URL, that was causing them issues and I do not get the pop-up message.

I do not have the IE Tab Extension installed.

They also confirmed they are on the latest version of Chrome, as am I.

Would there be some tie in to Java and Weblink from the launch view perspective that is causing there error and if so, why is it a random issue?
