import agent 10.4 for email archive in Laserfiche Cloud Plain text emails view problems

Laserfiche import agent for 10.4 with an on premise exchange is working great. One problem I have that I have searched everywhere for an answer but have not found a mention (must be using wrong terms).

In outlook the email editor allows you to create email in HTML, Rich Text or plain text. HTML and Rich text display well in the built in viewer once import agent imports it into laserfiche. Unfortunately Plain Text email are garbled block of what appears to be random letters.

Is there a setting that will properly allow the plain text email imported using import agent to display in the viewer properly?

Hi Bill,

At first glance, this sounds like a bug since I'm not aware of a "Don't garble plaintext emails" setting toggle. Not sure if it's on the Email Archive or web/desktop client side though. Can you please open a support case to report the issue?

Edit: If you haven't installed Import Agent 10.4 Update 1 I would try that first and see if the issue persists.

Darn...Would have been weird to have that "ungarble" setting but easier.

I have already contacted our cloud laserfiche vendor to enter a ticket.

My import agent already had the update 1 patch installed.
