Hi,

Just checking, is it possible to setup Laserfiche connector to open certain pages on Business Central/MS Dynamic and filter on client?

Regards,

I use a lot of O365 stuff, but I haven't specifically used those two aspects, but...

If there is a dedicated URL to those sites, you can use the "Launch a website" action in your profile.

If the filter is a field you can include in URL paramaters you can include it.
http://www.notarealwebsite.com?filter=value

Try seeing what is displayed in the address bar when you browse there and set your filter  values manually.

Hi Matthew,

We are unfortunately not using the web client yet, still using the thick client. Instead I will be creating the info in Forms with direct lookups and using WF with API to update the info to Business Central. Once we get the web client then I will instead use iframe to embed the MS Dynamics web client passing parameters through URL.

Wanted to see if the LF Connector could possibly open certain pages with parameters to the thick client, but it does not seem so.

Unforunately, I do not understand what you are trying to do, and how the client factors in to using Business Central/MS Dynamic.

Hopefully someone else may reply with more information.

I wish you luck however.

Hi Matthew,

We are using some forms processes to create contacts in Business Central and performing other functions to update data in BC. The reason was to check the ability to open up for example (Client Card directly to a specific client in BC), but instead I created a form that mimics the client card information.

Thanks, we are comfortable this way for now till we upgrade to the Web Client of BC.
