Fill out PDF Form: Embed a Custom Font

asked on February 2, 2021 Show version history

I have a workflow activity that ends with Fill out PDF Form.

I can get data into the "secure, locked, not editable" form, but the font looks  different than when I fill the form in Acrobat or Power PDF.

When I fill the PDF form outside of Laserfiche, the font looks like Courier and the text fits in the form fields.

When I use the Fill out PDF Form activity, the font looks like Arial and the text is too big.

I have access to the "Embed a custom Font" option but I do not see any reference to tokens for Courier font, etc.

This is where I am having trouble. This wipes out my entire field if I put anything in here, so I think I need a token or expression or formatting to make it work.

Please advise.

Just a thought. Looks like you can only use custom Sans Serif font type. That courier looks like a Serif font.

Hi Carlos,

Any idea how to make the font smaller and make it fit in the form fields like PDF has in its native form fields (i.e. Courier)

I am missing the syntax, but I will try to use a different font. I have a ticket open on this but am shooting in the dark with what to put in that "Embed a custom font" box, as the documentation is missing a reference to it.
