Auto retry suspended tasks

Hello Everyone,

 

I am curious to understand if Laserfiche Forms Routing automatically retries suspended activity? If so at what frequency and for how long. For example sometimes it happens that email server is not reachable and then instead of manual retry, will system retry on its own.

Hi Chandresh,

In versions 10.2+, Laserfiche Forms automatically retries suspended service tasks like Save to Repository and Email tasks, and auto-retry can be turned on for workflow service tasks if necessary. Consecutive retries start at 2 seconds then increase exponentially until hitting the maximum interval, which is defaulted to 12 hours. You can find some of this information in this whitepaper, though auto-retry for workflow service tasks is now defaulted to be off.
