Question

Page text out of range. [9133]

asked on January 29, 2021

We started a support case for this awhile back and it never really went anywhere.

We have an Import Agent profile setup to import some files and they are moving to the error folder (never making it to Laserfiche).  The error in the event viewer is:  Page text out of range. [9133]

* The files are .txt files.

* We are NOT doing retreive document text or OCR on the documents in the Import Agent profile.

* The files in question we are testing is ~8 MB

In our case it was stated that there is a limit of ~8 million characters, however I am not sure how that applies if we are not generating text or OCR'ing the document.

Any ideas as to what this error means?

I know this question of yours is a couple of years old but we are seeing the same issue in 2023. It seems to happen when our client's files hit 10,000 KB as anything less than that will go through. I tried to replicate it on my system and actually hit a limit of 8,192 KB which is exactly 8MB. Anything larger than that failed.

I looked in the settings to see if that was a limit we could change but didn't see any place that we could. It may be that that's a hard limit. I've pinged an LF engineer and if he has any info for me I will reply with it here.

Yeah, unfortunately it's hard limited. You can find it in the documentation here:

https://go.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-US/administration/#../Subsystems/ImportAgent/Content/Creating-a-Profile.htm%3FTocPath%3DImport%2520Agent%7CConfiguring%2520Import%2520Agent%7CCreating%2520a%2520Profile%7C_____0

So now we have to work out how to split the text files up, import them into the repository and then knit them back together somehow and create a single PDF. I feel like it can be done though it may take me a bit to work out how.
