Hello, we are using Forms via LaserFiche Mobile on ipads for various equipment inspection checklists. The users run into reliability issues all too frequently and in some cases stopped using the electronic forms. Here's a quote from one of my users,
One of the reasons why I stopped using this is because each day I had to log in 3 times in a row and on the 3rd log in, I had to always type in the URL by hand and then the password. It was an irritating and time consuming process. Is there any way to fix that problem? I’m not sure why it was doing it. Also, when I would go to enter the new information in the saved forms (saved as draft), it would repeatedly tell me that I had to refresh the form and I would have to refresh it multiple times, filling in the new information over and over again each time before it would let me submit the new data for the day. I found the tablet to be much more time consuming and irritating than filling out the paper forms. This is why we stopped using the tablet and went back to the paper forms. If these glitches could be fixed, I can see how using the tablet might make inspections faster and easier, but for now, the tablet makes them more frustrating and time consuming.
One of my suspicions is that maybe they are dropping their wifi connection, but I don't know why that would cause the symptoms they describe.
Any suggestions?
