RPA issues recognizing menus

When I first demoed RPA over a year ago, I noticed the recorder had trouble recognizing certain context sensitive menus, like dropdown menus on specific software applications. They aren't identified as clickable fields so you can't access them with RPA. 

I brought this up to someone at the empower conference last year and was told that it was a known problem that was being worked on.

Does anyone know if any progress has been made in this area? The bots aren't really useful to us unless they have the ability to access and select items from pulldown menus.

Hi John,

The newest Bot recorder on Cloud works for some dropdown menus on some applications, so it depends on which fields and what applications you're trying to record on. 

Have you tried to record those certain context sensitive menus using the newest Bot package on Cloud recently? If it still does not work using the lasted package, what applications you're trying to record on?
